This item, affectionately known as the "Chalkley Cup", is the cure for a problem that tractor operators have been experiencing for some time. The need is for a cup large enough to quench thirst when spending long days out on jobsites without the need to stop for a refill. This 52 ounce 7-11 X-treme Gulp fits the bill just fine, but it left the question: "Where do I put this thing?" Tractors have a tendency to shake and dump the contents of their cups, and are generally not fitted with sufficiently sized cup holders.
Most tractors have steel fenders right next to the driver's seat, and the magnets hold that cup down just fine. The cup pictured on the truck above is full, and not a drop is spilled during motion!
Thanks to Mr. Chalkley for the initial idea, Harv for the prototype, pictures, and all the time spent in his R&D facility, as well as all the other fine folks at tractorbynet.com for their ideas, input, and entertainment. Thanks also to 7-11 for their glorious creation of the "X-Treme Gulp", an asset to beverage consumers and tractor drivers everywhere.
Of course, after reading the bulletin boards at tractorbynet.com, we are left with one puzzling question: When do these guys actually do their tractoring? They seem to have an awful lot of time on their hands...
